Sponsored Post - My Biggest Skincare Concern

What's your biggest skincare concern?

I like my skin to be fair and bright so I will 'glow' in pictures!

Due to my major concern on skin brightening, I tend to be attracted to a lot of treatments or products focusing on skin brightening!

My work requires me to take photos outdoor most of the time - which means I am more exposed to sun!!! Sun is a HORRIBLE factor to hyper-pigmentation and discolouration!
On top of that, it caused my skin to be extremely dry due of the constant exposure to UV Rays from the sun.

Recently, I was introduced to The Body Shop's Moisture White Shiso Overnight Triple Boost Serum and I was pretty amused by the product (not just because of the ultra long name HAHA) but for how it works. :D

What attracted me to this product is that it's an OVERNIGHT SERUM!
I love overnight products 'cause our sleeping time is when our skin is most receptive to restoration!
Night time has no harsh UV rays as well!!!

Since young, I've been told that the optimum sleeping time is 11pm - 2am!
That's the time when new cells are generated and old are being repaired. :D

With an effective overnight cream + our skin being so receptive to restoration.....!!!

The Moisture White Shiso Overnight Triple Boost Serum is developed for and tested by Asian Women, which means it will work amazing for us Asians! :)

There is also an Intense Brightening Boost as it includes Potent Shiso Complex ingredient - an effective skin brightener enriched with Shiso, Vitamin C, Liquorice and Aloe Vera!!!

On top of that, it gives us a translucent boost which helps to neutralise potential darkening free radicals and help prevent further discolouration!!!! (YAY)

As I have mentioned previously, my skin is extremely dry as well!
This product has a plumping moisture boost which helps with a deep hydration for a radiant appearance!!!!

You can watch my video below if you want to know more about it and also check out the fast absorbency of this product!!!
It absorbs so quickly, leaving no greasy feeling on my skin after usage~

After 4 weeks of use, there are proven brightening results
1) Dark spots reduced
2) Skin appears more translucent
3) Skin feels plumped with moisture

I'm so excited to see how my skin will look after 4 weeks!!!

Before using The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso Overnight Triple Boost Serum, I will apply a pre-serum, also from The Body Shop, The Body Shop's Drop Of Youth Concentrate!

Don't be mistaken! I'm still young - but that doesn't mean I shouldn't use products giving younger-looking skin!

As most of us like applying makeup, such actions will cause pulling and tagging of our skin, which will in turn create wrinkles!!! T _ T

I do have quite a bit of fine lines on my face. Anyway, PREVENTION IS KEY!!!
Before it gets worse, you need to protect your skin!

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Concentrate leaves skin looking smoother, firmer, more even and fresher!!!

Another product I want to introduce to you from The Body Shop is not a skin care product!

It's The Body Shop's Moisture White Bright Compact Foundation which gives you brighter, fairer skin in just minutes, thanks to the light-diffusing fine mica pearls! ;)

The pinkish area is for highlighting while the bottom beige-looking one is the base foundation!

You can mix them up for an overall brightening effect, or you can first apply your foundation, and then the highlighter on the high points of your face like your nose bridge, forehead, cheekbones and chin!

With SPF 25 PA+++ included in the foundation, yay to brighter, fairer, glowing skin!!! :D

Thanks for reading and do remember to check our my video hehe.

  4. Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote
and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to the
whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for
newbie blog writers? I'd genuinely appreciate it.
